Blue Peacock

A very big Thank You!! To for this thoughtful birthday (or was it christmas..?) present I had received from the previous year. I remember starting it in spring, and had put it aside for a few months (as I often do with all my cross stitches) and then recently..like 3 days ago came across it and was like "Oh..I need to finish this." and Voila! is completed and I am in love with it <3 . It was mostly completed, except for the plants and back stitching (WHICH I STILL HATE DOING!!!!) 

This is actually supposed to be a pouch. there's a backside I'm supposed to stitch, and fill with lining, and add a very cute little tassle on the side. However due to my lack of paying attention to how close to the edge I stitched this, I don't think there's enough space to do that. (My explanation skills are extraordinary atm) Luckily I have some blank canvas lying around, and a very awesomely big supply of thread Needless to say another one will be made again in the future!

The last thing I have to comment on is that this piece had 3/4 stitches that for over a year I could not figure out how to do. So without realizing it I had done about 5 in a row, before I caught on that I had figured them out. (I am THAT brilliant) XD
